Javier's Restaurant at The Cabo Azul Resort is a delightful gem nestled in San Jose del Cabo, offering a vibrant Mexican dining experience right on the beachfront. Guests rave about its stunning atmosphere and prime location, making it an ideal spot to unwind and savor exquisite dishes. Many diners, like N C, commend the attentive service, noting the staff's effort to ensure a memorable meal, despite some steep prices, such as a bottle of water costing 190 pesos.
Patrons have praised the food quality, often describing it as “great” and “delicious,” with specific mention of refreshing cocktails like the popular Jalapeno Margarita and Bella Michelle. While some have noted that service can slow during busy times, the overall vibe, coupled with the breathtaking beach views, tends to outweigh these minor inconveniences. For instance, Diana Azul celebrated her birthday here, sharing how the experience was enhanced by stunning food and impeccable service.
Martha Murphy also highlighted the gorgeous entrance and the beautiful interior, evoking an unforgettable dining atmosphere. Overall, Javier's at The Cabo Azul Resort provides not just a meal but a captivating experience, ideally suited for both families and couples seeking a memorable night out in Cabo.

We enjoyed our experience here with our families. A great place to unwind and relax . Food is great but during busy time service can be slow. I highly recommend this to folks visiting Cabo.

The BEST service Javier’s has ever given. Been to almost all expect the one in Vegas. I love the location #PRIME we stayed at the hotel so we just walked down from our room. Food, drinks, vibes and service was amazing. I was here for my birthday with my son. I will definitely be back!

By far, the best of all Javier's locations!! Gorgeous entrance and interior, not to mention the beach view. I was mostly excited to try the Jalapeno Margarita but was a bit disappointed in the flavor, nothing compared to what I've had in the other locations. Thanks to that, I was introduced to "Bella Michelle"...cocktails are a must, and food is always delicious!

I had the Catch of the day which was Mackerel with Chipotle mashed potatoes and vegetables, food was delicious and I had the Tropical Margarita. For dessert we had the Mango sorbet which was excellent

Had the Sunday Brunch. It is a bit of an expensive experience (90 pp), but it is well worth it, in my opinion. The array of food is amazing (see the attached video previews). And the quality was unsurpassed. Definitely, every item item has a superior recipe behind it. I loved the carnitas (a Javier's specialty), marinated lamb, lobster quesadillas, tuna negiri, chicken mole, spanish chorizo and jalapeno cheese, paella with crab claws, crispy bacon and shrimp aguachiles. Little touches like having the juice glasses available in a chiller or sending a guy through the dining area with a frozen cart of gellato popsicles or serving free-flowing mimosas and bloody mary's add the cherry on top. Or maybe I was just sucked in by the stunning view and ambiance. Anyway, if you are in the Zona Hotelera of San Jose del Cabo on a Sunday, don't miss Javier's brunch!

Pluses: Really good food and atmosphere. Had a good chunk of filet. Waiter was excellent. Minuses: the music volume- I mean it is a romantic place and you are playing rap music at a level you can't talk to your company, the cost- much better deals outside and I get that it is the resort, but you are paying thr peeps a buck an hour so..... Well worth a visit though and enjoy.
